About the Role:

  • The Oceania Operations division is seeking a business unit risk manager to support effective management of operational risk and resilience.
  • This role involves working in collaboration with our second line-of-defence teams to implement operational risk strategies and drive effective governance.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Support all operational risk management activities, including RCSA, Incident Management, Issue Management, Controls Assurance, and Risk Governance.
  • Implement and drive changes to operational risk/resilience requirements to ensure robust management.
  • Work with the unit to ensure that the control environment is effective and aligned with the stated risk appetite.
  • Demonstrate and cultivate a risk-aware culture within the business line.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with frontline business and other functions across the bank to work through risk issues and ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in financial services, with a focus on risk management and Operations processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence decision-making at senior levels.
  • Able to challenge process and decisions, set new standards, and promote best practices.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
