Operational Risk Manager Lead

The Operational Risk Manager Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective identification and management of operational risk across diverse business lines. This includes Corporate Advisory, Principal Investments, and Equities.

This position involves leading Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) to ensure operational risk is managed in alignment with the Operational Risk Management Framework. Additionally, the candidate will provide operational risk advice to senior stakeholders and collaborate on developing practical solutions for managing non-financial risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead RCSA to identify and mitigate operational risk.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop practical risk management solutions.
  • Act as a key liaison with the Risk Management Group to ensure compliance with policy and framework requirements.
  • Investigate operational risk incidents and support the development of effective actions and remediation plans.

We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager Lead with 8+ years of experience in operational risk management or internal control roles. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial outcomes within a risk framework and a continuous improvement mindset.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in operational risk management or internal control roles.
  • Strong ability to balance commercial outcomes within a risk framework.
  • Proven capability to work independently while collaborating effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading RCSA and performing control assurance activities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise senior stakeholders and liaise with key support functions.
