Operational Risk Leadership

This role involves contributing to the wider Non-Financial Risk Function, focusing on business operational risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead risk and control self-assessments (RCSA), provide strategic advice, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop effective solutions for managing non-financial risks.
  • Acting as a key liaison with the risk management group, along with other support functions, ensure compliance with policy requirements.
  • Investigate operational risk incidents and issues, supporting the development of effective actions and remediation plans.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in operational risk management or internal control roles, such as internal audit within the financial services industry.
  • Strong ability to balance commercial outcomes within a risk framework, coupled with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proven capability to work independently while collaborating effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading risk and control self-assessments (RCSA) and performing assurance activities.

  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable recommendations.
