Our Global Markets Group is a dynamic and fast-growing unit that specializes in operational risk management. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the effective management and monitoring of complex trading risks, providing a robust foundation for our business activities.

This position requires an in-office presence 3-4 days per week.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert advice on end-to-end risks and controls environments
  • SUPPORTING and facilitating the continued improvement of processes, controls, and operational risk awareness across businesses
  • Partnering with trading desks and support groups, leveraging expertise to develop comprehensive knowledge of all processes to proactively manage operational risks
  • Assessing new products and initiatives, investigating incidents, and testing the effectiveness of controls
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in non-financial risk management, preferably in financial markets
  • Previous experience in trading, compliance, and surveillance related to trading will also be considered
  • A continuous improvement mindset and ability to interpret and balance commercial issues within a risk framework
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with senior colleagues to drive, challenge, and influence, as well as lead discussions on emerging issues
