Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital's clinical safety and quality framework.

You will lead the coordination of quality improvement initiatives, projects, and activities to maintain patient safety, accreditation standards, regulatory compliance, and patient experience in accordance with our mission, vision, and values.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital-wide quality improvement program and promoting risk management to support strategic direction
  • Leading all accreditation processes
  • Providing effective leadership in quality and risk management to assist managers in continuously reviewing their practices
  • Leading in clinical data collection, collation, and analysis
  • Participating and coordinating case review investigations
  • Coaching and consulting with managers in quality improvements to build capacity and capability
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a clinical discipline
  • A proven track record in effectively implementing organisational-wide initiatives and influencing teams in building a quality improvement culture
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Expert knowledge of the ACHS Accreditation System against the National Standards (NSQHS)
  • Innovation and creativity
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, particularly in the use of Word and Excel
  • Educational and auditing skills
  • Flexibility and openness to new ideas
  • Participation and leadership in relevant national committees and teams
