Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic individual with leadership experience in quality improvement and management to join Healthscope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital's clinical safety and quality framework.
  • Lead the coordination of quality improvement initiatives, projects and activities to maintain patient safety, accreditation standards, regulatory compliance and patient experience.
  • Provide effective leadership in quality and risk management to assist Managers to continuously review their practices.
  • Lead in clinical data collection, collation and analysis.
  • Participate and coordinate case review investigations.
Selection Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a clinical discipline.
  • A proven track record in effectively implementing organisational wide initiatives.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Expert knowledge of the ACHS Accreditation System against the National Standards (NSQHS).
  • Innovation and creativity.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, particularly in the use of Word and Excel.
  • Educational and auditing skills.
  • Flexibility and openness to new ideas.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Enquiries can be directed to Lisa Stokes, Director of Clinical Services.
