About the Role

The Mental Health Quality Improvement Specialist will contribute to the processes guiding the area mental health service towards continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and meeting clinical and performance targets.

Key responsibilities include coordinating quality and accreditation processes under the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and developing a program of quality and performance improvement activities across NWAMHS.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Maintain an understanding of individual responsibility for patient safety, quality & risk and contribute to organisational quality and safety initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of quality and safety within NWAMHS, promoting consumer and carer-focused services and outcomes.
  • Comply with principles of Patient Centred Care, National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
