Quality Improvement Specialist in Mental Health

About the Role:
The Quality Improvement Consultant is a key position within the North West Area Mental Health Service, responsible for driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with legislative, clinical, and performance targets. This role coordinates quality and accreditation processes under the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, developing and implementing a program of quality and performance improvement activities across NWAMHS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an understanding of individual responsibility for patient safety, quality & risk and contribute to organisational quality and safety initiatives.
- Follow organisational safety, quality & risk policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and members of the public.
- Promote and participate in the evaluation and continuous improvement processes.
- Comply with principles of Patient Centred Care.
- Comply with Northern Health mandatory continuing professional development requirements.
- Comply with requirement of National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards and other relevant regulatory requirements.

Salary: Approximately $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
