Primary Educator Opportunity

About the Role:

  • Develop, deliver and assess engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum, EYLF and NQS where appropriate.
  • Cultivate a Christ-centred classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing, wonder, and joy in learning.
  • Utilize varied pedagogical strategies to cater to diverse learning needs, ensuring inclusive and best-practice teaching.
  • Participate actively in school and Primary Team activities, contributing to a strong, collaborative staff culture.
  • Provide meaningful and timely feedback to students and parents on academic, co-curricular and personal progress.
  • Implement effective classroom management and pastoral care strategies that align with school values and policies.
  • Support and participate in co-curricular programs and key school events such as parent evenings and end-of-year functions.
  • Integrate a biblical worldview into curriculum planning, teaching, and student engagement.

Requirements:

  • Western Australian Curriculum knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Education or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience in primary education, preferably in a Christian school setting.
  • Knowledge of biblical integration in education.
