The Role

The successful applicant will ideally show the professional knowledge, practices and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant primary school Music curriculum, aligned to WA Curriculum. As part of this role, you would engage and build productive working relationships with students and ideally be involved collaboratively with your colleagues to improve student results and engagement. The role would include running of our Madeley PS Choir and some external music events within the cluster.

The successful applicant should ideally have the ability to work collaboratively to plan and implement effective teaching and learning plans. Additionally, they would ideally provide excellence in creating and maintaining supportive and safe learning environment and provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve their highest potential.

With effective interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will work closely with students, colleagues and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students.

Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

  • hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
  • consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
