Tapping Primary School (PS) opened in 2007 and is situated on Wadjuk Noongar Boodja. Located in the Wanneroo Education Network, our school serves Kindergarten to Year 6 with a focus on high-quality educational programs and student success.
The RoleAt Tapping PS, we hold high expectations for both staff and students, matched by high levels of support. Our teaching team values evidence-based practice and explicit instruction, underpinned by Positive Behaviour Support and strong professional collaboration.
We are developing a fine-grained, low-variance curriculum in English and Mathematics to ensure consistency and clarity in instruction, while reducing teacher workload. We focus on what matters most – high-quality teaching and learning – and avoid unnecessary programs or initiatives that distract from our core mission to deliver outstanding education for every student.

EligibilityTo work with us, you must:
- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
