Overview

Join to apply for the Teacher - Primary role at Department of Education, Western Australia. Tapping Primary School (PS) opened in 2007 and is situated on Wadjuk Noongar Boodja. Located in the Wanneroo Education Network, our school serves Kindergarten to Year 6 with a focus on high-quality educational programs and student success.

The Role

At Tapping PS, we hold high expectations for both staff and students, matched by high levels of support. Our teaching team values evidence-based practice and explicit instruction, underpinned by Positive Behaviour Support and strong professional collaboration.

We are developing a fine-grained, low-variance curriculum in English and Mathematics to ensure consistency and clarity in instruction, while reducing teacher workload. We focus on what matters most – high-quality teaching and learning – and avoid unnecessary programs or initiatives that distract from our core mission to deliver outstanding education for every student.
