This position oversees the day-to-day operations of a hotel in the absence of senior management.
Key accountabilities include:
- Co-ordinating and overseeing all aspects of hotel operations to ensure seamless delivery of service to guests
- Ensuring a solid understanding of the target market and driving results with the Front Office team
- Effectively managing and motivating staff to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Managing daily operations of the Front Office and Reservations Departments
Additional responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all departments are adequately staffed
- Developing products that differentiate the hotel in the market place, ensuring occupancy and average rate is maximised
- Maintaining a high level of service with all staff understanding and implementing hotel service values
- Looking for new opportunities and optimising opportunities to change for improvement
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to work under pressure and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
