Job Overview

The Community Services Program Manager is a key position responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of programs at the campus level. This includes program coordination, development, teaching, and academic support to sessional teaching staff.

The successful candidate will lead the integration of fieldwork placements within campus-based learning to prepare ethical, competent community service practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the academic quality and delivery of community services programs.
  • Manage and develop high-quality learning materials accessible to students and staff.
  • Deliver teaching, assessment, and student consultations for relevant subjects.
  • Facilitate student engagement, support, and communication, addressing student issues and managing academic integrity matters.
  • Monitor program quality and lead continuous improvement processes.
  • Build strong relationships with industry partners to ensure relevance.
  • Mentor and coach lecturers and the Field Placements Coordinator.
Requirements:
  • A Postgraduate Degree in Social Work or related field, and 3+ years relevant experience.
  • Full membership of the Community Work Australia (CWA).
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving and organisational abilities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of accreditation requirements and Code of Ethics of Community Work Australia (CWA).
