Commercial Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform weekly bank reconciliations
  • Support month-end closing and processes
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables
  • Prepare BAS statements and lodgements
  • Manage monthly excise tax returns
  • Purchase order management including employee entitlements and expenses
  • Assist with inventory management (using DEAR software)
  • Price management including modelling, analysis and bi-annual pricing updates
  • Support Commercial Manager with generation of weekly snapshot reporting and monthly business performance reporting
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Liaise with external accounting firm

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Commerce, Business or Accounting desirable
  • Previous experience working as a Commercial Analyst or similar ideally within Liquor industry highly desirable
  • Experience in financial analysis/modelling, commercial strategy and forecasting
  • Knowledge of Xero and DEAR Inventory Management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong commercial outlook and financial acumen
