Job Title: Asset Data Capture SpecialistAbout this role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Asset Data Capture Specialist to join our team. As an Asset Data Capture Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting data on commercial facilities using a range of technologies including tablets, 3D imaging, thermal cameras, and drones.

Your primary focus will be on identifying and recording data on mechanical/electrical building systems, fixtures, and building fabrics. You will also need to provide thorough and accurate data capture, ensuring that data is uploaded to minimize the risk of data loss.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as you will be working closely with our team to maintain accuracy and verify data capture quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect data using tablets, 3D imaging, thermal cameras, and drones on commercial facilities such as hospitals & clinics, universities, schools, TAFE, government buildings & correctional facilities.
  • Identify and record data on mechanical/electrical building systems, fixtures and building fabrics (cladding, walls, floor coverings, ceilings).
  • Provide thorough and accurate data capture, ensuring data is uploaded to minimize risk of data loss.
  • Craft highly precise and detailed reports for assessments when required.
Requirements:
  • Access to a reliable vehicle, a valid Victorian driver's license, and willingness to travel.
  • A current Employee Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one.
  • National Police Check, White Card, and proof of Covid19 vaccination.
  • Exceptional level of attention to detail and proven ability to capture high quality data on a range of assets in a commercial environment.
  • Proficient with the use and troubleshooting of smartphones, laptops, tablets and cameras.
  • Professional demeanor and the capability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • An appropriate level of physical fitness as this role requires walking around large sites and being on your feet for long periods of time.
