Architectural Data Specialist

The Victorian School Building Authority is seeking a highly skilled Architectural Data Specialist to join its team. As an integral part of the organization, you will play a pivotal role in capturing, updating, and reporting physical land and building asset information.

About the Role

The Architectural Data Specialist will be responsible for facilitating Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and asset data operations, advising on activities related to asset data and CAD, and providing technical expertise and analysis services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Capture, update, and report all physical land and building asset information in the IAU Asset Management System.
  • Facilitate CAD and asset data operations and contribute to improving IAU's data capture processes.
  • Advise on activities relating to asset data and CAD, provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Undertake land and property tasks for school site identification, including title searches and investigating land status using spatial databases.
  • Provide authoritative advice on trends, risks, and issues through detailed data analysis and investigation, supporting business needs.
  • Identify current and future data requirements trends and provide input into continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Provide consulting and advisory services relating to asset data to a designated client base.
