Activ Foundation is a genU company that values diversity and respect. We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our Property Care team.

About the Role

The Property Care Leader will lead a crew of individuals with disabilities in gardening and grounds maintenance for commercial contracts. This is a permanent position with a fixed term of at least 12 months, working full-time hours Monday to Friday.

  • Supervise and work alongside supported employees in gardening and grounds work for commercial contracts.
  • Support employees in learning and developing skills that enable them to pursue their goals and aspirations.
  • Ensure safe work practices, including the operation of equipment.
  • Maintain records on attendance, job sheets, and machine maintenance.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with a great attitude towards working with people living with disabilities, strong leadership skills, and self-motivation. You should be happy to work outdoors doing physical work and have excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

  • Current Western Australian license essential (LR license highly regarded).
  • Being handy with tools and having a horticulture, landscaping, gardening, or trade background is considered beneficial but not essential.
