About the Role

As a Property Care Lead, you will oversee a crew of individuals with disabilities in gardening and grounds work for commercial contracts. You will supervise and work alongside supported employees, ensuring safe work practices and maintaining records on attendance and job sheets.

  • Supervise and work with supported employees in gardening and grounds work, including mowing, pruning, weeding, whipper snipping, planting, and leaf blowing.
  • Support employees in learning and developing skills that enable them to pursue their goals and aspirations.
  • Ensure safe work practices, including the operation of equipment.
  • Maintain records on attendance, job sheets, and machine maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and mentor while working alongside a crew of individuals with disabilities.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support employees in achieving their goals and aspirations.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, job sheets, and machine maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure safe work practices and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • A strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • A passion for providing guidance and motivation and getting the best out of people.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • A valid driver's licence is required.
  • Horticulture or trade background is considered beneficial but not essential.
