Job Opportunity

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to fill the position of Clinical Specialist Radiographer. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in musculoskeletal imaging and rheumatology.

The primary purpose of this role is to be a clinical specialist within a given modality area, utilising clinical expertise in musculoskeletal imaging. To assist the General Section Manager Radiographer in the orientation and training of radiographers (Medical Radiation Scientist) and Medical Radiation Scientist students in the speciality of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical expertise in musculoskeletal imaging and rheumatology.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of radiographers and Medical Radiation Scientist students.
  • Oversee the coordination of workflow from clinical areas/departments, including theatres at IRO.
  • Ensure maximum throughput and utilisation within a given work area.

Required Skills and Qualifications

For this role, we are looking for candidates with a degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent. Holders of NSW EPA Radiation Licence and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) are also highly regarded.
