As the Chief Radiographer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art imaging facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
This is a full-time position based in our modern clinic located in the heart of St Leonards.If you're looking to make a real impact in a supportive and high-performing environment, this is the opportunity for you.About the RoleSupervising and directing a team of radiographers, technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and seamless operationsOverseeing the scheduling and coordination of imaging appointments and proceduresEnsuring adherence to all relevant policies, protocols and safety standardsMaintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and reportsProviding expert guidance and support to referring clinicians on imaging modalities and proceduresDriving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and operational efficiencyRepresenting the department and acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholdersWhat we\'re looking forMinimum of 5 years\' experience as a registered and practicing radiographer, with demonstrated leadership and management experienceThorough understanding of medical imaging modalities, procedures and best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, clinicians and multidisciplinary teamsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and ensure timely service deliveryCommitment to upholding high standards of patient care and safetyProficient in the use of imaging software and technologyRelevant tertiary qualifications in radiography or a related fieldWhat we offerAt Castlereagh Imaging, we are committed to fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment that enables our team to thrive.
