Job Title: Chief Radiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Radiographer to lead our medical imaging team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a registered and practicing radiographer, with demonstrated leadership and management experience.

  • Supervise and direct a team of radiographers, technicians, and support staff for efficient and seamless operations.
  • Oversee scheduling and coordination of imaging appointments and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, protocols, and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clinicians on imaging modalities and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.
  • Represent the department and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a registered and practicing radiographer, with demonstrated leadership and management experience.
  • Thorough understanding of medical imaging modalities, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and ensure timely service delivery.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Proficient in the use of imaging software and technology.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in radiography or a related field.
