About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our team and drive policy development in growing employment, material living standards and economic activity.

As a senior leader, you will work collaboratively with a highly skilled team and provide strategic guidance to increase productivity across the state's economy.

Key responsibilities include leading policy advice, guiding our position to deliver timely insights and policy options, and developing the skills of team members by fostering a positive culture.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve economic growth, employment and wages in Victoria.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, and contribute to projects that develop culture and capability in the team.
  • Work collaboratively within the team to balance workloads, ensure staff wellbeing, coordinate work and provide development opportunities for team members.
  • Represent our views at inter-departmental meetings and build effective relationships with senior stakeholders.
