About the Role
We are seeking a Strategic Policy and Prevention Leader to join our team. This role will drive and inform evidence-based public policy, building a collegiate organisational culture and advising the Senior Leadership Team on policy development and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong partnerships with stakeholders, working closely with government partners.
- Lead change or strategy within the prevention of family violence/violence against women sector.
- Lead policy development or policy thought leadership.
- Staff management, leadership, and team development.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Prevention of family violence/violence against women in a Victorian context.
- Project management and contract management experience.
- Relevant expertise in or exposure to a government context.
Essential Expertise
- Specialist knowledge and expertise in the prevention of family violence/violence against women.
- Understanding of key levers in government and civil society to influence policy direction and drive change.
