Senior Geotechnical Business Development Manager

The Transportation Geotechnical Business Class Leader will serve as a key representative of the geotechnical engineering team, fostering strong relationships with national and regional clients and effectively communicating geotechnical capabilities to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to enhance technical competencies of geotechnical staff in deep foundation design and construction, aligning with client needs and market demands.
- Select, train, mentor, and manage a team of geotechnical professionals to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.
- Promote the geotechnical practice, establish partnerships, and leverage innovative concepts to mitigate risks and deliver value to both HDR and clients.
- Contribute to the advancement of HDR's geotechnical practice and professional discipline groups, project teams, and activities, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering, or closely related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in a related field, with a proven track record of success.
- Active PE registration in AL, FL, MS, SC, and TN, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Master of Science or higher in Engineering (Geotechnical/Geologic engineering) or equivalent level of experience.
