Oversee Commercial Finance Function

A unique opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic high growth portfolio company as the Commercial Finance Manager. Reporting to the CFO, you will be tasked with enhancing the reporting and analytics of the business.

The company has a track record of growth, successfully expanding to all major states in Australia, growing both organically and through M&A activity. They are well-positioned for further expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the CFO and leadership team with insights and analytics to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, developing models to accurately forecast performance and provide monthly budgets.
  • Partner with key business units to ensure financial alignment and drive performance across the business.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Analyse business performance data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators.
  • Produce monthly board reports and management accounts.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an analyst or in a commercial finance role in a Private Equity-backed company.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Candidates should have outstanding analytical experience as a commercial, business, or finance analyst looking to step up into a new challenge.
