We are partnered with a leading design, development, and construction company specialising in luxury residential projects.
The company is seeking an experienced Junior Financial Operations Coordinator to join their vibrant Accounts team.
About the role:
The Junior Financial Operations Coordinator position involves ensuring all financial transactions for entities are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Supporting the Finance Manager and assisting with maintaining an organised office environment are also key responsibilities.
Duties of the role:
- Assisting the Finance Manager with credit control, project cost reviews, and expense analysis.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Processing supplier claims.
- Liaising with creditors and project managers to resolve errors and ensure smooth functioning of accounts payable and payments.
- Following up with Contract Administrators and Project Managers to ensure supplier invoices are recorded, coded correctly, and paid in a timely manner.
- Assisting with maintaining an organised office environment, including monitoring and ordering office supplies and stationery and catering.
- Assisting in general office and office administration duties.
- Answering the office phone.
- Taking minutes for internal meetings.
About you:
Two years minimum experience in a similar Junior Financial Operations Coordinator role is required. Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products, experience using finance systems (MYOB software desirable), and excellent verbal and written communication skills are highly valued.
