Customer Service Team Lead

About the role:
The Business Services Manager is responsible for the effective day-to-day leadership and development of the customer service teams, including recruitment, training, management, and monitoring of their activity to achieve the business goals.
The role entails leading the office-based customer service team and enabling the sales and operations teams in the field.
Key responsibilities include:
- Displaying the ambition and focus required to achieve goals and objectives in delivering outstanding customer service.
- Providing practical support and encouraging long-term development of others to build capability.
- Giving practical training, support, or assistance through actions and/or directions.
- Showing ability to gather and make sense of large amounts of information and apply it to make business and customer-focused decisions.
- Building relationships and collaborating with other heads of departments.
- Communicating expectations and direction, inspiring others to achieve objectives, and holding them accountable to high standards of performance.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Packages.
- Basic OH&S – Work Site Safety.
- At least 3 years of proven customer service skills, sales experience, and leadership ability.
- Experience in a services industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- A love of plants is a plus.
