Job Overview

This role involves leading the implementation, management and support of high performance technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance to teams during project phases
  • Manage the provisioning of new and existing switching infrastructure within data centers
  • Remediate risks associated with end-of-life infrastructure and manage capacity within data centers
  • Develop detailed designs for network changes and troubleshoot any related issues
  • Implement network changes in accordance with project plans
  • Coordinate change implementation plans
Requirements

Candidates should have advanced knowledge and skills in switching and routing technologies, particularly Cisco infrastructure. Expert-level working knowledge of VXLAN, EVPN, VPC, routing protocols and the Cisco deployment toolset is required.

Good understanding of devops models, scripting languages such as Python and Ansible, and automation platforms and orchestration tools is necessary.

Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues using tools like Wireshark and packet traces is essential.

Effective communication and project management skills are also required.
