Senior Project Engineer

The successful candidate will lead project teams, oversee project delivery and ensure high quality and profitability.

Key responsibilities include designing comprehensive project programmes, managing construction risks, identifying and escalating issues when required, managing project expenditure and cash flow, managing subcontractors on site and producing progress reports.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will deliver and manage client expectations, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, have well-developed interpersonal skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or similar
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in the successful delivery of projects from start to finish with a builder/head contractor
  • Proven leadership ability in building and motivating teams
  • Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standards
  • Strong project financial reporting skills
