About the Role

Bolton Clarke is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Officer to join our team in Rockhampton. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support services to ensure the smooth operation of our site and community programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide a wide range of administrative support services, including word processing, data entry, and procurement of goods and services.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Be a role model for effective and positive leadership, promoting a team culture of cohesive and responsive service provision to clients.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Ensure effective communication flow between direct care and site management staff, departments, and teams, and provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Human Resources Administration: Provide human resource administrative support, including recruitment activities, orientation, rostering, validation, payroll enquiries, and preparation of reports.
  • Technical Skills: Use a variety of Bolton Clarke internal systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and other software applications.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a background in a similar role, ideally within aged care. You will have demonstrated experience in word processing and data entry, as well as a Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) to the intermediate level or higher.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Organisation and Time Management: Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Financial Administration: Demonstrated experience in financial administrative procedures, including petty cash, invoicing, and accounts receivable.
  • Health and Safety: Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain) and evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations.
