Job Title:

Community Care Performance and Strategy Program Lead

  • This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the Community Access team by overseeing contracts, risks, and operations.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing budgets, ensuring Occupational Health & Safety standards, maintaining quality assurance, and meeting funding compliance requirements.
  • The position involves coordinating support for business/data management systems to facilitate integrated service delivery.
  • Regulatory compliance and strategic planning are also key responsibilities of this role.
  • The position requires risk assessment and mitigation strategies to ensure effective delivery of contracts and services under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).
  • Flexible working arrangements are supported to meet operational needs.
About the Role:
  • Key selection criteria include sound knowledge of current trends and issues regarding vulnerable residents, CHSP, Aged Care Quality Standards, and the broader Aged Care Service System including the My Aged Care portal.
  • Awareness and understanding of implications of the Commonwealth Aged Care reforms is essential.
  • Demonstrated project management, contract management, resource management, and research skills are required.
  • Well-developed financial, audit, problem-solving, and analytical skills are necessary.
  • High-level skills and experience in extracting and reporting on statistical data are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, particularly in relation to preparing reports.
  • Experience in implementing continuous improvement practices within a service delivery setting and utilizing various information technology systems is an advantage.
  • Experience in working with contract or funding agreements and managing compliance is desired.
