Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled occupational therapist or speech pathologist to join our team. As a vital member of our service delivery, you will work closely with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families to provide evidence-informed solutions that promote growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy or speech pathology services to individuals on the autism spectrum in their community setting.
  • Work collaboratively with participants, their families, and support networks to identify strengths, areas of need, and develop support strategies that build capabilities and align with individual interests.
  • Participate in regular clinical training sessions, Positive Behaviour Support, and ongoing monthly training to enhance expertise and career development.
  • Develop and maintain a sustainable caseload through close collaboration with our trusted Aspect Therapy team.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy or speech pathology.
  • 1-3 years of experience in occupational therapy or speech pathology, with a strong focus on working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with participants, families, and support networks.
  • A commitment to providing person-centred, strength-based services that promote meaningful change and growth.
