Job Description
  • $81K - $120,000 pa FTE inclusive of super + phone + laptop + reimbursement of daily work kms travelled + tolls
  • Salary packaging options to increase your take-home pay
  • 3 to 5 days a week, part-time and full-time roles available in Sydney, Western Melbourne, Canberra, and the Illawarra region
  • Expand your expertise and build your career
  • Structured program of clinical training sessions, introduction to Positive Behaviour Support, and ongoing monthly training for the first 12 to 18 months
  • Work with a leading service provider in the country
  • Purpose-led organisation – make a difference in the lives of people on the autism spectrum
  • Support 3 to 4 participants per day in the community. Unlike private practice, you don't need to chase referrals – we will help you build a sustainable caseload

Our trusted Aspect Therapy team aims to support and empower individuals on the spectrum and their families/support network to bring about meaningful change based on functional goals. We work in partnership with the individual and their families/support network to identify strengths, areas of need, and develop support strategies that build capabilities and align with the participant's interests. We meet participants in their community setting to work on transferable skills that shape their everyday lives. This is career diversity on a whole new level

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy or speech pathology
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in speech pathology or occupational therapy
  • Experience in disability services is a plus but not required
  • A self-starter eager to deepen skills in neurodivergence
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia or willingness to obtain
  • Current driver's license, use of own vehicle for work (reimbursed per km), and willingness to travel locally
  • Keen to work itinerantly in the community, building strong participant relationships
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
  • Working with Children Check for paid employment in your state
  • Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' (click here to access)
  • International police clearance may be required
