Job Title: Hematology Nursing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hematology Nursing Specialist to join our team in an acute hospital environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care outcomes while working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients requiring chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, radiotherapy, and blood products.
  • Care for patients with haematological disorders, including those undergoing intensive interventions, and provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
Requirements:
  • Australian Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.
  • Current experience in an acute hospital environment.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
