**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced nursing professional to join our Haematology Outpatient Unit team. This is a permanent full-time position that requires comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Nurses will identify and implement discharge-planning requirements, prioritise and implement planned care to achieve expected outcomes, and evaluate patient progress to revise nursing interventions as needed.

**Requirements:**

  • A current Authority to Practice with AHPRA is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have recent clinical experience in Cancer Services Nursing, demonstrate ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity.
  • Chemotherapy competence and IV Cannulation (IVC) competence are essential.

**Unit Details**

The Haematology Outpatient Unit operates Monday to Friday providing a range of treatments, chemotherapies and blood product support for haematology outpatients. The successful candidate must be fully competent in chemotherapy administration and management of CVADs and IV cannulas.
