Conducter of Sensitive Investigations

The role of Internal Investigator is a challenging yet rewarding position where analytical skills can have a positive impact on improving processes, practice and quality of service provision.
Investigations involve researching and analysing allegations, identifying causal issues and providing practical recommendations to enhance service delivery. The successful candidate will work autonomously, taking ownership of their portfolio of investigations, requiring highly developed interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills to interact with children, senior stakeholders and external regulators.
Key qualifications include relevant investigative practices and a proven track record in investigation techniques, including cognitive interviewing. Knowledge of reportable conduct legislation and mandatory reporting is highly valued. Experience conducting investigations in a community services setting is advantageous but not essential.
