Brooksight Investigations is expanding its national Forensic team and is seeking highly skilled and motivated Forensic Crash Reconstructionists to support growing demand across Australia. We are particularly looking to strengthen our presence in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, with active opportunities in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
With longstanding partnerships across the insurance and legal sectors, Brooksight is a trusted provider of expert forensic services.
What the Role Involves
- Investigating a broad range of vehicle crash incidents – from low-speed collisions to serious and fatal crashes.
- Attending crash sites (where required) to capture evidence and conduct forensic assessments.
- Downloading and interpreting electronic data using the appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Producing high-quality forensic reports to assist clients with liability determinations and legal proceedings.
- Liaising with insurers, solicitors, and internal stakeholders, and providing expert opinion as required.
- Supporting court matters with written or oral evidence, where applicable.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in crash reconstruction or mechanical forensics.
- Formal certification in crash reconstruction from a recognised institution
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, dynamics, and data extraction methodologies.
- Proficiency with all diagnostic tools, or ability to quickly become proficient with minimal support.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.
- Strong written communication skills with experience preparing court-ready reports.
- Prior experience giving evidence in court or working within a policing or investigative environment will be highly regarded.
