Urban Planning Expert Sought

Seeking an Urban Planning expert to lead project initiatives and ensure successful outcomes in the built form and land development spaces. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the planning process from conception to determination.
  • Preparing complex applications, structure plans, rezoning applications, subdivision applications, and coordinating sub-consultant inputs and reporting.
  • Presenting proposals to clients, decision makers, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with a team of planners, project managers, and surveyors to support and supervise as required.

Key qualifications include:

  • Tertiary qualification in Urban Planning or a related discipline.
  • Previous Western Australian private practice or State/Local Government experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Western Australian State and Local Planning Policies and Guidelines.
  • Initiative and self-motivation to meet client expectations.
  • Effective negotiation skills to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
  • Excellent communication skills to relate to clients and work effectively with team members.
