At a bustling auction site, our team relies on Yard Staff to ensure seamless operations.

About the Role:
  • This critical position involves receiving and processing consigned equipment for auction.
  • The key responsibilities of this role include providing exceptional service to internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Receiving and checking in/out consigned equipment.
  2. Utilizing an auction listing to arrange equipment display before the auction.
  3. Operating various types of equipment.
  4. Carrying out facility inspections using checklists and performing necessary housekeeping or maintenance services.
  5. Maintaining RBA owned equipment with basic repairs.
  6. Managing keys for equipment.
  7. Loading/unloading stationary row equipment using a forklift.
  8. Boosting equipment for optimal performance.
  9. Performing assembly tasks such as installing dozer blades.
  10. Monitoring fluid and fuel levels on equipment.
  11. Labeling equipment with lot numbers.
  12. Setting up signage, flagging, and trash receptacles for auction day.
  13. Driving a sound truck during events.
  14. Holding 'For Sale' signs.
  15. Positioning operators within rolling stock.
  16. Parking sold equipment on the ramp.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills to cater to both internal and external customers.
