Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, EU, UAE, AU, and US.

We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.

The role has arisen due to major growth in the global market which requires immediate expansion of our team with a Territory Manager based in Brisbane.

This is a dynamic and exhilarating role for a machinery enthusiast.

The successful candidate will be dealing with both buyers and sellers to facilitate and grow auction sales.

Key activities include:

  1. Securing heavy equipment consignments and filling the auction yard ahead of each sale date.
  2. Working to targets, growing your territory through superior new business development skills and maximising consignments using established contacts within the industry.
  3. You can consign equipment to any Euro Auctions sale site around the world, thereby maximising earning potential.
  4. Your territory is not confined to geographical boundaries - it is anywhere you have potential customers.

To be successful in this role, you must possess all of the following:

  1. A passion for machinery and an entrepreneurial spirit who can maximise sales from new and existing customers.
  2. An excellent negotiator able to spot opportunities and act upon them effectively.
  3. Experience in hunting new business opportunities using innovative techniques.
  4. Ability to create demand for consigned heavy equipment.
  5. A self-starter capable of working independently.
  6. An excellent communicator with strong ability to build rapport and attract Buyers and Sellers to our auctions.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  1. A proven sales record with minimum 4yrs experience in the Construction, Agriculture, Transport Sector or associated industries.
  2. Experience using CRM systems.
  3. Attendance at relevant auctions.
  4. An already established network of contacts within the industry.
  5. Excellent knowledge of the current national and global market.
  6. Understanding of the Auction industry, buying, selling and bid-catching at Auctions.
