Job Opportunity:

Senior Payroll Officer

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill a Senior Payroll Officer role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process using industry-standard software.

Your expertise will be essential in supporting junior team members and ensuring seamless payroll operations. You will also work closely with the Payroll Manager to provide guidance and support on senior-level tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Manage the processing of payroll from start to finish using iChris/Chris21 software.
  • Senior Support: Collaborate with the Payroll Manager on complex tasks such as checks and approvals.
  • Statutory Calculations: Accurately calculate statutory deductions including tax, superannuation, and third-party payments.
  • Junior Support: Provide training and support to junior team members to ensure their growth and development.
  • EBAs and Awards: Calculate employee benefits and awards in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Redundancy and LSL: Perform calculations for redundancy and Long Service Leave.
Requirements:
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in full-cycle payroll management, preferably with Chris21 or iChris software.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of payroll legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
