Field Support Engineer

This pivotal role is within our Operations Team, embedding the C4 product suite with the customer.

The successful candidate will join a leading international IT solution company that genuinely cares and values its people.

The position is full-time – Brisbane-based.

We are seeking Field Support Engineers to join our Brisbane team. Reporting to our Project Manager, you will be responsible for technical support, training, and providing advice to the customer on our C4 products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, Configuration, and Support: Installing, configuring, and supporting SitaWare in the customer's C4I environments for testing, training, exercise, and operations.
  • Integration Setup and Testing: Setting up and testing integrations between SitaWare and coalition systems, sensors, effectors, and communication systems.
  • Technical Training: Conducting technical training of administrators and end users in classroom and workshop environments.
  • Customer Feedback: Collecting feedback from customers and feeding the learning loop internally and externally.
  • Product Alignment: Keeping up to date with Systematic products to ensure alignment of customer expectations and product roadmaps.
  • Beta Release Testing: Participating in testing of beta releases and software improvement activities.
  • Project Delivery: Helping ensure projects are delivered within scope and on time.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Certifications or Training: Certifications or training in IT, Electrical Engineering, or similar, or comparable military technical career.
  • Presentations and Training: Experience delivering presentations, training, and technical support.
  • IT Infrastructure: Knowledge of IT infrastructure and platforms (Windows, Linux, Android, Active Directory, databases, XMPP).
  • Australian Defence Terminology: Knowledge of Australian Defence terminology, use cases, practices, and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills and stakeholder trust-building ability.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
