The estimated annual salary for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
This Mechanical Maintenance Professional will play a vital role in maintaining mechanical equipment on site to achieve optimum availability and cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain personal fitness and adhere to drug, alcohol, and fatigue policies.
- Prioritise safety for oneself, colleagues, visitors, and the public.
- Follow instructions and use correct manual handling techniques.
- Wear, use, and maintain personal protective equipment.
- Communicate effectively with all personnel.
- Comply with site safety requirements and report hazards promptly.
- Complete safety documentation daily.
- Report all injuries and illnesses promptly.
- Participate in meetings, inspections, and training activities.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
- Participate in induction and training activities.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding employee relations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years post-apprentice work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Australian Recognised Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter, Boilermaker or equivalent
- Site-specific (e.g., confined space, working at heights) as required
- First aid certificate
- Current Driving Licence
