About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in the Goldfields region. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable company, Emeco, and contribute to the maintenance and optimisation of their heavy earthmoving fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ongoing maintenance and optimisation of Emeco's heavy earthmoving fleet
  • Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
  • Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others
  • Ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget
  • Working with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives
Requirements
  • Must have full working rights within Australia
  • Proven post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi
  • Recognised National Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Fitter Trade Qualification
  • High level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
  • Strong analytical mindset and solution focused attitude
  • Hold a current Australian Driver's License (HR is preferable)
  • High risk licence (is preferable) but we also offer in-house training

  • Casual rates up to $83.25 or full-time $70.00 (base + allowances)
