Emeco is a leading provider of heavy earthmoving equipment, and we're seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in the Goldfields.
About the RoleThis permanent full-time position involves ongoing maintenance and optimization of our heavy fleet, providing support to our rental fleet as required, and working safely to minimize risk.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and optimize Emeco's heavy earthmoving fleet
- Provide support to the Emeco rental fleet as needed
- Work safely and adhere to HSE policies and procedures
- Meet maintenance and optimization targets on time and within budget
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to achieve larger organizational objectives
- Australian work rights
- Proven post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment (Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi)
- National Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter Trade Qualification
- High understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
- Strong analytical mindset and solution-focused attitude
- Australian Driver's License (HR preferred)
- High-risk license (preferred) or willingness to undergo in-house training
- Casual rates up to $83.25 or full-time $70.00 (base + allowances)
- 2/1 FIFO roster direct from Busselton
- Gym and tennis court on-site
- On-site accommodation and meals provided
- Fortnightly pays
