At Emeco, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Technician to join our team in the Goldfields. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and optimisation of our heavy earthmoving fleet.

About the Role:

  • Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
  • Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others
  • Ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget
  • Working with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Ongoing maintenance and optimisation of Emeco's heavy earthmoving fleet
  2. Providing technical expertise to support the Emeco rental fleet
  3. Developing and implementing strategies to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce costs
  4. Collaborating with colleagues to achieve organisational goals

Requirements:

  • Must have full working rights within Australia
  • Proven post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi
  • Recognised National Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Fitter Trade Qualification
  • High level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles
  • Strong analytical mindset and solution focused attitude
  • Hold a current Australian Driver's License (HR is preferable)
  • High risk licence (is preferable) but we also offer in-house training

Estimated Salary: $80-$90 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
