About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Consultant/Unit Manager to join our multidisciplinary team.

  • As a key member of our team, you will provide expert clinical nursing care and lead nursing staff through education, training, and leadership.
  • You will use information systems and performance data to guide quality improvement and risk management.
  • Maintaining effective working relationships and managing conflicts is crucial for sustainable service delivery.
  • As a specialist clinical expert, you will apply your knowledge to develop clinical protocols and nursing practice standards.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A current registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and holding a practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including advanced communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven experience in developing and supporting health assessment processes and documentation, emphasizing person- and family-centred, culturally diverse care.
  • At least 3 years post-registration nursing experience, with competence in community nursing and experience in areas such as Mental Health or Community Health.
  • Ability to work flexibly and innovatively within a complex environment, collaborating with leadership to foster positive culture and lead change management initiatives.
