As a Senior Social Worker with our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, you will provide expert clinical care, deliver advanced social work services, and lead quality and safety improvements. Your expertise will be pivotal in supporting families with complex emotional and behavioral difficulties.

About the Opportunity
  • Deliver comprehensive assessments and interventions for parents, infants, and families experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective service plans.
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to social work staff, promoting excellence in practice.
  • Support families with high levels of need, addressing underlying issues and promoting resilience.
  • Drive service quality and safety improvements, leveraging data and community insights.
  • Engage with allied health professionals, nursing, medical staff, and leadership to enhance service delivery.
About You
  • Hold an accredited degree or equivalent qualification, enabling full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Be recognized by the AASW as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, demonstrating expertise in perinatal and infant mental health.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating collaboration and information exchange.
  • Demonstrate experience in delivering assessments, developing service plans, and providing clinical supervision.
  • Display a strong understanding of complex problems, employing a biopsychosocial approach to foster positive outcomes.
