Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Casual Service Delivery Controller. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of our crews, managing disruptions, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for stakeholders, including train crew, network, maintenance, and operations teams.
- Enter detailed and quality data into our transport and labour management systems.
- Direct the movement of our crews to minimize travel and ensure minimal delay to our services.
- Identify incidents and events that cause disruptions and find efficient solutions to manage them.
- Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with internal and external customers.
About You
We are looking for a team player with a positive outlook, eager to absorb comprehensive training and knowledge to launch their career in the rail industry. You will possess creative problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Requirements
- Flexibility to work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively using multiple mediums.
- Intermediate level computer skills, with a background in transport or labour management systems advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to operate effectively in a team.
- Confidence to review and assess available information and make appropriate decisions.
